Bridal Headdress Class
If you are the bride, a bridesmaid or a going to be a guest at a wedding, a headdress is the perfect fashion accessory to turn a look into a LEWK.
In this class we will show you how to make a one-of-a kind headdress whether the wedding theme is "traditional, boho, glam, whimisical, art deco or anything else."
This class is also a self care activity. Making something by hand relieves stress and anxiety.
Weddings can be stressful, but crafting is relaxing. We also play relaxing music and serve hot tea to create a calming vibe.

A headdress made with our realistic looking faux flowers can be worn for years after the wedding is over.
Do you want a calla lily in December or a poinsettia in June? Your favorite flower is never out of season when it is faux.
In addition to faux flowers and foliage, we have other embellishments such as feathers, butterflies, shells, pearls, rhinestones, and more.
And by making your headdress in advance, you have time to experiment with different hairstyles and jewelry.

What Happens In Class
After a brief slide show of different styles of headdresses to inspire you, we review glue gun safety tips.
Then we give you a hand basket for you to select the materials for your design. Exploring our range of materials is half of the fun!
Each workstation has a mannequin head wearing a headband and all the necessary crafting tools. Our instructor will consult with you on best practices to execute your design.
At the end of class, we take group and individual photos in our photo studio. We will email you a google link with all the photos.
NOTE: No pets are allowed in the class but you can make a matching flower collar for your pet for an additional $10.
No Crafting Experience Necessary
The only skill needed is the abiilty to use a glue gun.
Our instructor will provide you with the guidance and inspiration to make your vision a reality.
Most of our students had never made a headdress before. Many were new to crafting and yet they all left wearing something they were proud of.

Our Venue
Classes are held in the showroom of Mannequin Madness.
This venue is so unique, it was featured in the travel book, Secret California, a guide to the wierd, wonderful and obscure.
Our main business is selling recycled mannequins; which is why you see mannequins in the backyard of some of the photos.
Our venue has these amenities:
-Free Parking
-A full kitchen if you want to host a pot luck or bring in a caterer if you book a private group class.
