Grand Diva Dress Form Christmas Tree - DIY Tutorial
Note: This is a DIGITAL product with a tutorial to show you how to DIY this style of dress form Christmas tree. The dress form and materials are NOT included.
This was the style dress form Christmas Tree which was on display at the White House in 2014 (see the photo with the lavender ribbon). We call this style the Grand Diva because it looks like a ballgown and plus definitely need ample place to display it. (not for small apartments)
This tutorial provides step by step instructions with plenty of photos so you can recreate this exact look. And we include examples on how to modify it using different materials on the bodice to match your style or decor.
You can use real or faux garland. If you use faux garland we have a trick to make it easy for you to remove the skirt and store it away so you can use the dress form for other purposes for the rest of the year.
Some skill and patience are required to make the skirt out of chicken wire. So we recommend this tutorial for those with intermediate crafting experience.
The materials are NOT included. You can use a dress form you already own or buy one from us. Type in the code HolidayDIY to get 15% off the dress forms or dress form slipcovers on this page:
