Description

This piece is modeled after Sayoko Yamaguchi, the pioneering Japanese supermodel who broke into the international fashion scene in the early 1970. She became a muse to designers including Issey Miyake and Kenzo Takada.

The sculpt captures her striking, angular features and confident stance, standing with one hand at the hip in a poised, editorial silhouette.

Condition 

Surface: small paint chips are visible on the leg and near the shoulder (see damage photographs).Head: a small hole is present at the back of the head, consistent with original wig-attachment hardware on this series — not a defect.
