This torso is made out of a clear polycarbonate - the same material used to make children's glasses. So unlike acrylic, this is shatterproof. 

If you are trying to achieve the "ghost "effect for photographing clothes, this Clear Female Torso Form makes things much easier. Note: There is a 1 1/2” gap between the legs to make it easy for you to display pants, swimwear, or underwear. 

You can order the torso with one of two bases -- 32"tall or 42" tall. Please specify your choice when ordering.
