Resident Artist at Mannequin Madness

Taramae Scott, a frequent guest instructor at the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco, is our artist in residence with her art studio in our warehouse.  You can follow her on Instagram at @MadeByTaramae.

Taramae leads all of our DIY workshops and as a former kindergarten teacher, she has lots of tricks and tips to make crafting easy and fun.

If I am the queen of mannequins, Taramae is the queen of crafting. She works in a variety of mediums - polymer clay, decoupage, acrylic painting, floral design - just to name a few.

So together we are always looking for creative ways to upcycle a mannequin  - or use a mannequin head as a canvas to make a headdress.
