Resident Artist at Mannequin Madness

Taramae Scott, a frequent guest instructor at the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco, is our artist in residence with her art studio in our warehouse.

If I am the queen of mannequins, Taramae is the queen of crafting. She works in a variety of mediums - polymer clay, decoupage, acrylic painting, floral design - just to name a few.

So together we are always looking for creative ways to upcycle a mannequin  - or use a mannequin head as a canvas to make a headdress.

Taramae leads all of our DIY workshops and as a former kindergarten teacher, she has lots of tricks and tips to make crafting easy and fun.
