A window display of tutu’s that Carrie Bradshaw would love.

Carrie Bradshaw made it (somewhat) socially acceptable for grown women to wear tutu’s on the street, rather than in ballet class.
So we are combining two of Carrie’s passion’s – tutu’s and window shopping – to showcase our favorite window displays of tutu’s. Just as people accessorize tutu’s (and tutu inspired skirts) in all different types of ways, depending upon their style and personality, there are window displays with different personalities.
We didn’t realize how many different types of ways a retailer could display a tutu’s and dance wear until we started a Dance & Retail Window Display board on Pinterest.
Most retailers display tutu’s on just a standard dress form – which we think is kinda boring. But dress forms like this one below that have articulated arms, makes it appear as if a graceful ballerina is actually wearing it.  We sell dress forms with articulated arms here and here.
This tutu window display seems too demure for Carrie. I bet this would appeal to her friend Charlotte.
I never would have thought to display a tutu’s with lingerie, but it sure is eye-catching. Does this mean that the wearer is going “full commando” underneath that tutu. If so, then this is a display for Samantha.
Speaking of full commando, glad that this is not the case with this window display. The powerful, take no prisoners stance that these mannequins have, would appeal to Miranda.
Ahh, there is nothing like realistic mannequins. The mannequin in the back reminds me of a look that Carrie would wear on the street.
